Ashbridge's Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant is one of Canada’s largest and oldest wastewater treatment plants. Opened in 1917, it serves a population of 1.5 million people and has a capacity of 818,000 m3 per day. On this tour, you will learn the basics of the treatment process and see several processes in the liquid stream, including preliminary, primary and secondary treatment.

Attendees must wear long pants and closed-toe shoes.
Schedule
Buses will depart from and return to the Sheraton Conference Centre. Please arrive early as the bus will depart promptly at 12:30, and note that the return time is approximate as it may be affected by traffic.

Priority will be given to pre-registered attendees, but drop-in attendees will be allowed on the bus on a first-come, first-served basis if the tour is under capacity at the bus departure time in case of last-minute cancellations.
